AGM & Christmas Lunch 2019

7th December 2019 @ The Broken Oar, Pambula Beach
11am – 12pm
This year we are again holding the AGM concurrently with Christmas celebrations. We have booked the dining room at the rear of the Broken Oar Café Pambula Beach. The AGM will start at 11am and concluded at around 12noon, after which a two-course sit-down lunch will be served inside the restaurant.
Please note that our current treasurer Denise will be leaving the committee in 2020 in order to concentrate on her writing. I also considered reducing my involvement within the club. Next year will be my final year as president. The Vice President elected at the AGM should view the position as an opportunity to explore how best to move the club forward in the years to come.
Both remaining and outgoing committee members strongly encourage each of you to give due consideration to joining the committee and having a say in how your club is run. The committee meets at least 3 times a year on mutually agreeable dates at venues that provide coffee.
We look forward to you all joining us at the AGM and Christmas Luncheon, and hopefully finding some new faces for the committee.

Writers Christmas Lunch
12pm – 3pm
If you are intending to join us for the Christmas get together the cost is $38, and this amount will need to be paid in advance by 22nd November with your meal choices for catering purposes.
Choice of Mains:
- Coconut coated Barramundi fillets with Steak fries and Garden Salad
- Roast Beetroot and Fetta Salad
- Twice Cooked Sticky Pork Belly with Jasmine Rice and Asian Greens
Choice of Dessert:
- Chocolate Brownie
- Lemon Curd Tart
|Secret Santa will also be part of our luncheon so please bring a pre-loved book, wrapped with a small one paragraph synopsis attached.|
We ask that you RVSP no later than the 22nd November via the website or email and include your choice of main meal and dessert from the selection above so that we can advise the Chef. Please pay for your meal when you RSVP.
Payments via cash (16th November workshop), credit card (via the website or at the workshop) and direct bank deposit (preferred) are accepted. If paying via direct bank deposit please ensure your surname is in the description of payment so that we can identify who has paid.
